“Zanta Claws”
From Sector 13-9 in the Andromeda Galaxy.
Diet:

Most Zanta Claws prey on other small vertebrates. A few parasitic Reduviids, like the well-known Beaster Vunny, suck the blood of vertebrates, including humans.

Life Cycle:

Zanta Claws, like other Hemipterans, undergo incomplete metamorphosis with three stages – egg, nymph, and adult. The female lays clusters of eggs in high temperature areas (fireplaces ). Wingless nymphs hatch from the eggs, and molt several times to reach adulthood in about 24 days. Zanta Claws live in colder climates usually overwinter as adults.
